I am a 32-year resident of Big Bear Lake, and graduated from Big Bear High in 1985. Once out of high school, my dad put me to work for him carrying lumber and clean up. I hated it! Although I hated it, I caught on to the building trade rather quickly. After learning and gaining experience as a journeyman for four years, I got my contractor's license.

I still work for my dad as the framing foreman on large custom homes, and frame for four other long-time Big Bear contractors as well.

My passion is in designing and building decks, and anything that has to do with outdoor living. I love being creative and love helping with the designing of decks, from its very structure and lcoation to its accents such as flower planters and custom railings.

My wife, Linda and I spend many evenings on our deck in beautiful Big Bear Lake, and I would love to help you with your ideas in building your dream deck.
